I went to LoanMax in - Va. I was in great need because I was facing eviction. When I arrived I went to the wrong title loan company because there are two title loans on - - in -. I walked in the first title loan place the gentleman took me through the application process and then he asked me for my title. When I gave him my - title he said " Sorry Maam we dont take - titles ''? So I walked across the street to LoanMA-. I gave my title to the employee and she told me the same thing that they couldnt take - titles. As I was walking away in frustration I stated noone told me this over the phone. The employee begin to explain that it wasnt her that I spoke too. She then said if I could provide her a - address she could give me a loan. I gave her an address in - and then she asked how much I made a month. I told her my monthly income. She said let me call my supervisor. She told the supervisor that i had a - title but the car was housed


as though my balance was never going down. My car is a - - - -. It wasnt worth the payments. But I continued to pay monrhly and questioned the interest. They just kept telling me it was explained to me when I took out the loan. I told her i couldnt afford to pay a loan that never ended. I paid them a total of $1300.00. Then I started doing my research and found out that it was true that they couldnt do loans with - titles and that - had stipulations but they would honor - titles ..but not -!! When I questioned them about how was I able to recieve a loan if I have a - title ... I was told that they couldnt control the address that people provided. I even had people call to ask if they had a - title and lived in - could they recieve a loan? There answer everytime was no! I told them that I couldnt continue to pay this high interest loan. So within 3 months of non payment they came and repossed my - but they hired a - party company to say they repossed my -. When I called to get my belongings out of the - they told me they never took my -. I went to the police and the police clerk provided me the information that they did have my - repossed.
