Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Credit Sesame sent me an alert on -/-/- that there is a New Inquiry on my credit file with - from SYNCB, - - - - -, FL - contact # -. I called this company and they do not have an application on file for me. At least that 's what I was told. I am an authorized user on my moms Rooms to go card, and I have been since -. She said this is why my credit was check in -. I did n't give this company permission to check my credit, and if I am an authorized user on someone else 's account that is no reason to pull a hard inquiry on my credit file. I have a feeling someone has applied for credit in my name, and this account needs to be found. Also, this inquire needs to be removed, because - - has not given anyone permission to check her credit. They had enough nerves to tell me to call the credit bureau and dispute it. I called - and they said I need to call the bank. SYNCB, needs to resolve this issue by removing this inquiry, and telling me exactly why was my credit pulled on -/-/- without my permission. This is fraud.
