Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I purchased a pair of earings from a vendor named - at a festival on - -, 2016. This purchase was correctly charged to my Wells Fargo - - card by the vendor for the sum of $59.00. I then decided to buy a second pair of earrings. This time the vendor fraudulently prepared the credit card slip in the amount of $540.00. The actual price for the earrings was the same as the first pair : $59.00. I did not notice the fraudulent change and signed the credit card slip. Please note the attached exhibit of - 's inventory from its website at -. Every item carried by - is priced between $27.00 and $55.00. It defies believe that anyone would purchase $540.00 worth of merchandise from a vendor at a festival operating from a tent! I have made every effort to locate the - company without success. There is no business address on its website and I could find no listing of any such business on file with the Georgia Secretary of State. I have reported this fraud to Wells Fargo twice. Wells Fargo has refused to adjust this charge.
