I received a voicemail message on - -, 2016. The message stated that the caller was calling in reference to a complaint pending against me in - -. The caller stated my name and left a call back number. The caller also contacted - family members on this day leaving the same message. On -/-/2016 the caller contacted another family member with the same message and called me. I answered the call which was a recording and then called the call back number. Upon speaking to a male representative, I verified my name and asked to have my number and family member 's number 's removed from the call list. The representative stated that I was upset that the company had called my family and needed to stop running from the situation. I continued to insist that our numbers were removed and the representative hung up. I called back and spoke to another representative, - -. I again requested to have our phone numbers removed and was told that I was not able to do have them removed and that I was " not in control '' of the situation. The representative, - -, proceeded to tell me that I owed money that needed to be paid. I explained that I was aware of my rights to have my number and family members number removed. The representative became noticeably upset called me a " thief '' and hung up the phone.
