This consumer : 1. Attempted to login to his Transunion account to review status. 2. Login, and or, password was not recognized. Consequently, this consumer is routed to a page asking what is the consumer 's high school mascot name and what is his email. I provide the right information. However, it kicks back as wrong. 3. I am routed to an off-shore - - - number. 4. I call that number. The Transunion representative can not access my information. and suggests I email my state or federal I.D . I email my state I.D . 5. I call back. This time, the Transunion representative states that my only option is to go to -. I explain that under - and state consumer protection law, Transunion is obligated to do much more than that. 5. I am switched to a supervisor who says that Transunion is not even obligated to do for this consumer what was already stated in previous conversations. So, erroneous information remains on the Transunion report for this consumer. This consumer is left with no material way to correct or mitigate this problem. I and millions of American consumers are adversely impacted by the conduct of information barons like Transunion. Credit reports impact an American consumer 's ability to get a job or housing. Transunion can hurt families in this regard. Currently, it appears that I have identity theft and a false record issues with Transunion. I have collections that are not mine. I have access or profile information that is not correct. Transunion is refusing to make resolution possible or easy.
