I moved out of - 's service area and they say I owe them an early termination fee. They say I broke the terms of their contract and charged me a $170.00 fee for that. I asked them if they would move my service to my new address, they said they could n't and would disconnect my service for me, but could not reconnect. I received a bill stating I had a credit of $47.00 that was owed me. Next month I got a bill with the early termination fee and it used my credit towards that. I called and they said they would issue my refund check in about two weeks. Next month I received another bill for the balance of the early termination fee. I called again to complain to -. I was cut off twice. I filed a FCC complaint, and - called me and said they could not waive the fee. I asked them to provide service in my home. If I was being held to the contract, then I was holding them to the contract. They said they could not and would not waive the fee. Two hours after that call I received a call from a collections agency asking for the balance of the bill - says I owe. I am due a refund of $47.00. I have attached the bills and the collection notice I received in the mail.
