I contacted my bank, Wells Fargo, to ask about the current auto rates. They were only able to give a range of rates ( 3.49-18.49 % ) unless I filed an application. I declined to do so because I was n't committed to purchasing the car and did n't want a hard pull on my credit for no reason. About 3 week later ( on - -, 2016 ) I received written correspondence that my loan application was decline because " the credit application was incomplete ''. In fact, there never was an application. They also pulled my credit in violation of the law.
