Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I had a defaulted credit card with Wells Fargo in the past. In -/-/-, I reached out to Wells and we reached settlement terms to resolve my outstanding balance. They agreed to settle my $5600.00 balance for one payment of $3700.00, if paid by - -. I made the payment as agreed. Its now six months later, and Wells Fargo continues to refuse to update my credit report appropriately. Instead of reporting the account as settled in full with no liability, the are reporting that I still owe them money. I have disputed this account with the credit bureaus 5 times, but Wells continues to tell them I have an outstanding balance. I did my part, but they are not living up to their end of the settlement agreement.
