I opened a Care Credit account. I was told that no interest would be charged on promotional purchases. In - this year, I was charged over $1100.00 in interest. I requested that the interest be removed and Care Credit refused to do so. I was told that since I did n't pay all of the promotional purchase off in time, all of the interest for the entire purchase amount was charged to my account, over $1100.00. I was told these purchases would be interest free. This was not true. I have paid a total of over $4500.00 on my account, and I can not see where my payments are going. My balance is nearly $7000.00. I was told that the payments were credited toward " non promotional '' purchases. This is a scam! See statement below.
