Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
On -/-/- I purchased an engagement ring and wedding band. The jewelry was purchased with a credit card agreement with Wells Fargo. There was no interest due if the total balance was paid within 12 months. I had problems with the engagement ring and filed a complaint with Wells Fargo within the 12 month period against the jeweler. Wells Fargo told me that the account would be put on hold and no payments needed to be made until the dispute was settled. Today I received a statement from Wells Fargo stating that $850.00 in interest was due along with the balance on the jewelry. I called them and they said the dispute was settled. I never received anything stating that the dispute was settled. They said they sent a letter on -/-/-. I never received it. The interest was charged on -/-/-. The account was supposed to be on hold. This does not make sense. They will not remove the interest charge. PLEASE HELP!
