Credit card False statements or representation Attempted to collect wrong amount Texas

- - took over my charge off a Wells Fargo Credit and has since upped what I owe by over $3000.00. How am I supposed to make good on a past debt when the collection company uses a tactic such as this. How can - - charge me additional fees and interest when I never contracted with them, nor have I ever spoken with this Company. This is predatory and unfair to myself, the consumer, when I am trying to work out paying this debt back. I am beside myself at what to do at this point.
