PayPal Credit charges me late fees and interest every month that are increasing in an exponential manner. Over a year ago I notified PayPal that I wanted to receive paper statements. I received an online notice asking me if I wanted to receive online statements and opted in. Paypal did not notify me that this would result in me stopping receiving paper statements which I never objectively opted out of. Because I relied on these paper statements my bills were consistently late assuming that they had been lost in the mail. I did not realize that paypal had surreptitiously cancelled my mailed statements until after they decided to stop refunding late fees and interest which they did do for one or two months. I also told them repeatedly to keep sending me paper statements which they promised to do but never followed through on. Now I dont use my paypal credit account. Since paypal has refused to refund the interest or late fees of $ -/mo I have refused to pay them and they are now threatening my credit score.
