Coastal Credit, LLC Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay North Carolina
My car payment was due on - -, 2016. I was not able to pay this payment until - -, 2016. My car loan company is with Coastal Credit, this company call numerous time a day, from texting, cell phone calls, and house calls. Finally, this company sent a stranger to my house on - -, 2016 who never identified himself, only stated he wanted to hand me a letter from Coastal Credit, and requesting that I call them in front of him, while he was there. So I called Coastal Credit and I was put on hold for while and I finally told the man I had things to do and I paid my car payment on - -. The man verified my information, it was the same information that Coastal Credit all ready received, and the man then left after verifying information. Shortly after this Coastal Credit representative who name is - called and left message on my phone to call her before Monday and she did not see the payment that I stated I paid. So I call Coastal Credit and I was unable to talk to - due to the representative saying she was on the
and the payment is showing up on my debit card transaction. The representative then proceed to say let me check another system, I was placed on hold again, and the payment is in the other system. So I begin to express my frustration with this situation, particularly with - stating she did not see the payment, and sending a stranger to my house. The only answer the representative could give me is the stranger sent to my house is another way of communication. I told the representative I have previous loan companies and no one has ever sent anyone to my home. The representative told me she was not going back and forth me. I also told the representative that maybe they should check all there systems before stating someone did not pay their payment. Now granted I was late due financial issues and I have been working extra to catch my bills up, but I do not feel like I should be harassed like this from this company. Is this legal for a company to act in this manner?
