Our insurance has paid more than what was the contracted rate and my family has a deductible per year and was met for that year. Just because and - states patient is resp does not mean a patient is resp. If - has a deductible and it has been met the patient has no out of pocket expense what so ever. Just because you go to an emergency room and a emergency room Dr sees you does not mean to double bill the insurance with - different facility names that is still double billing. I now my rights as far as biller goes and I know when a - is a duplicate claim. I have notified our health insurance with this issue let them know that we are being sent to collections and this is a white collar crime and my civil rights are being abused and this is fraud. Per our - it states clear as day on it that charges exceeds the area 's usual and customary charge amount. I notified our health provider multiple times and they even stated they are billing way to high for a bill that has been paid more than what was allowed. and now collector and hospital are trying to collect in error.
