Lexus/Toyota mistakenly sent my account to collection for $400.00 ( for a missing key ). I returned all keys when I turned in my vehicle to Lexus dealer at end of lease on -/-/-. Lexus then confirmed from paperwork that was sent from Lexus dealer on the day I returned the vehicle that it shows - keys were returned to Lexus dealer by me so Lexus waived $400.00 from my account. Lexus then issued a letter on -/-/- ( as attached ) that shows - balance per my request. I contacted Lexus the day I received a collection letter ( please see attachment ) and asked them to remove the collection since it 's invalid debt ; I have - balance per last letter that Lexus sent me, and they refused to make correction of their own mistake.
