Toyota Motor Credit Corporation Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Texas
I financed the purchase of my Toyota Corolla - in - - through Toyota Financial Services. I paid off the loan at the end of - - and took delivery of the Certificate of Title from Toyota Financial Services on - -, -. I was however, shocked to read their attached letter which clearly stated that " We encourage you to re-title the vehicle immediately upon receipt of the title/lien release document since all records maintained by your state of residence will continue to reflect our lien on the vehicle until you do so. '' I called Toyota Financial Services to complain that they should re-title the vehicle and not pass the cost to me. The representative who took my call ignored and was informed that I would lodging a complaint with the CPFB. In fact, I even finished paying for the vehicle over four ( 4 ) months before its original maturity date and deserved not to be treated rudely.
