I feel that I was pressured into purchasing s vehicle aND extended warranty when I was at a very vulnerable state. I was involved in an automobile accident on -/-/- while driving my boyfriend 's car. Immediately following the accident, I took his car to - - because I had a scheduled oil change appointment. While waiting, I was sold a - Nissan Altima for around $4000.00. I was in a very distraught state after the accident, I suffer from a - that causes me to make irrational decisions at times, and I was coerced into purchasing a 12 year old vehicle with a $3000.00 warranty, and the vehicle was financed. I honestly was n't in a good state of mind but i believe that the sales and finance guys pressured me into signing the paperwork and I truly did n't realize what I was getting myself into. I was given an interest rate of - % which was n't disclosed beforehand. Is it legal and ethical to finance a 12 year old car at 28 %? Additionally, the engine went out on the car within the first 10 days and they replaced finance it after initially refusing to cover


of work on -, and I was not prepared to commit to the purchase. I was told they would have an underwriter call me back to discuss my options, but this never happened. In the mean time, I had a second accident on -/-/-, which caused additional work loss, physical and mental limitations, and I was prescribed controlled substance to help with the pain. After contacting American Credit Acceptance again, I was told it was too late to make any changes as the contract was already in progress. Please let me know how I can get help with the illegal practices that the dealership and finance company took knowing my physical and mental health.
