Toyota Motor Credit Corporation Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle lease Shopping for a loan or lease New York
Went to lease a new Toyota Prius. The dealership made a deal without checking my credit report. They advertise -+ FICO credit rating. My credit cards free FICO report showed -+ on my statements, so I was n't worried. After transferring insurance and making the down payment, a person from the finance department showed up and said, we have a problem, my credit rating is less than -. I asked ; which credit FICO or Vantage? His answer was ; Your -. That is your credit, if you want the car the payment will be $65.00 more.Being my insurance already transferred at that time, I decided I can pay for the new amount, but I still do n't think that is the right amount or that was the right way to make the deal. Also, I have a feeling they use, Instead of FICO, the Vintage credit score wich in most cases much lower, again Toyota advertises FICO!!!
