Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
Wells Fargo a credit card by mail that was never received back in - of -. I called and informed them that I had not rec 'd card and the informed me that they would expedite and resend another card back in - -, and I rec 'd new card but have yet to use card. Now in my recent - credit report I found that Wells Fargo has report my account past due for $16.00 that they claim is a - fee they charged my account for expediting my card that got lost in the mail. The Fraud representative I spoke to stated that he will pull up the recording and If I am correct I will have it removed, but refused to give any written confirmation to me, rather he told me I would have to wait and see next months statement to see if charge was removed, without any further explanation or assurance of outcome confirming their internal investigation. I is absurd that anyone would accept this explanation as it is my credit they are reporting as in default and waiting another 30 days would make this matter more en-grievous as it would be further in default without any explanation or transcript of conversation from their internal investigation. I request that an investigation be started by - credit reporting agency, and I have advised them I did not authorize charges, and requested late charge accrued be removed as well. Still waiting.
