I took out a loan with Sun Loan company and paid the balance in full In - 2011 before moving out of the state. In - 2011 they reported it on my credit report as an unpaid charge off. Not once have I received any documentation or phone call stating that I had a remaining balance or that it was being sent to the credit reporting agencies. I have disputed this on my credit reports and it keeps coming back as validated and I have still yet to receive any formal documentation from Sun Loans. I have tried to reach out by phone but when I call the number listed on my credit report it states that it has been disconnected. They are reporting derogatory marks monthly to the credit bureaus and each time the balance is increased. My rights under FDCPA - were violated when they put this on my credit report without ever reaching out to me and not giving me my 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt.
