About six months ago, Equifax deleted - auto loans I had from my credit report before the loans were paid off. On - -, - I contacted Equifax about removing - - - accounts that were originally opened in -/-/-. Equifax informed me there was activity on the accouns in -/-/-, therefore could remain on my credit report for seven more years. Now, they want remove these - negative accouns that are over 20 years old, but they remove accounts that are n't even paid off yet. How is this not against the law? The auto loans were thru - - -
