Regarding Wells Fargo, - - credit card number - that is apparently 8 days late. According to Wells Fargo I missed the last payment of $46.00 due on -/-/-. Payment history is -/-/- - $50.00. - - $100.00. -/-/- - $100.00. -/-/- - $92.00. The - - payment according to my records was the last payment due to Wells Fargo. On Sunday, -/-/- while eating dinner with my family I received a call from Wells Fargo representative - ( ID # - ) attempting to collect the debt of $46.00. To my astonishment I quick signed into my online banking portal to assess why this past payment was not made. After explaining to - that according to my records all payments were made ands the debt was satisfied he declined to waive $240.00 in penalty interest. I requested to speak with a supervisor, - ( ID # - ) who also failed to make any exceptions to the penalty interest. After learning the last payment of $46.00 was accidentally not sent, I immediately triggered a payment to be sent on -/-/- however this was not satisfactory to - or -. This is the fleecing of America. Respectfully requesting regulatory support to identify a genuine honest mistake for the relief of $240.00 in penalty interest. This is simply not fair. Anyone with common sense will see that this was a genuine mistake.
