Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
Hello, I had a credit card with Wells Fargo. Many years ago, it was closed by WF and I entered into a repayment plan in - of 2011 with the understanding that they would draft $52.00 from my account on the - of every month until it is paid off. This year, in -, they did not draft the payment. I received a late payment on my credit score which caused a significant drop in my credit score. I called and found that they stopped drafting it because I only owed $8.00 and insurance which they needed to waive. I paid the $8.00 promptly and asked to have the late payments removed from my credit reports. A month later, I received a notice that they had reported the information accurately and will not be removing the late payment. I do not think this is fair seeing that I did not stop the payment on my end. When I signed up for the repayment, the understanding was that it would draft until the account was paid off. The money was in my account at the time and should have been paid off. I worked with -, a team lead in collections there. Her phone number is -. Is this legal?
