I recently received a copy of my -.The credit report showed a credit inquiry by American Credit Acceptance on -/-/- that I do not recall authorizing. I understand that you should n't be allowed to put an inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. Please have this inquiry removed from my credit file because it is making it very difficult for me to acquire credit. If you believe that you posses sufficient documentation that supports your authorization to make the inquiry, please send me a copy to my current address so that I may verify its validity. American Credit Acceptance requested a 60 day extension to resolve this matter. This is a direct violation of the FCRA. By requesting a 60 day extension when the original dispute was filed - -, - is evidence that American Credit Acceptance does not have the information necessary to justify the inquire that is currently displaying on my - Credit Report. American Credit Acceptance is in direct violation of the FCRA Section 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ). I request that American Acceptance remove this unverified inquire from my - Credit Report Immediately. I intend to seek legal action if American Credit Acceptance continues to willingly and knowingly deny my rights under the FCRA and for damaging my creditworthiness and credit score causing great distress.
