In - 2015, I purchased a small welding machine online through Paypal. I remember typing in personal information including my last name, email, address, social, and credit card info. A few weeks later the tool I bought was delivered to my house. -/-/-, I received an statement from Paypal Credit through my email stating that I owed money to them for this tool. At this point I have never even heard of Paypal Credit, and I was sure I already paid for this tool. Immediately, I pulled up all of my past credit card statements looking for the transaction I was sure I made back in -/-/- with Paypal. I found nothing. To my surprise I came to the conclusion that my credit card was never charged back in -/-/-. Next, I decided to call up Paypal customer service to straighten out this situation. I learned that I was somehow signed up for Paypal Credit which was a complete mistake. I was deceived and tricked into signing up for this service. I would never sign up for Paypal Credit. On -/-/15, I sent PayPal Credit a check for the price of the tool which was $250.00, I refused to pay $140.00 they claimed I owed in late fees and interest charges. I do not buy anything on credit, I pay off my statements monthly. I have sent - separate letters to their headquarters, and my wife, daughter, and I have made several phone calls to them. They give us the 'run-around ' every single time and now my fees are up to $220.00. Please help me.
