Universal Acceptance Corporation Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Texas
During the loan period on a vehicle I purchased from - of - -, - ; I was making scheduled payments on time with auto-pay through a debit card recommended by Social Security Administration. At one point in the payment period of the loan the finance company ( Universal Acceptance Corporation of - - ) attempted to withdraw two payments for the same month without success. They called about every other day demanding I pay the extra payment. When I refused to do that they repossessed the vehicle and charged me - amount of dollars in penalties and unpaid loan amount after the vehicle was sold by them and when that was not paid, reported the account to the credit bureaus with erroneous/incorrect payment history information which had an even more negative influence on my credit rating.
