AVANT LOANS : This company does not allow you to update your bank information online in order to pay the loan. They require undue burden of mailing in a voided check which could cause problems with the old checking account and unnecessary fees for returned items. They also do not allow you to update your address online - it must be through mail or fax. I wanted to pay additional money on my account toward principal. This company does not allow that and requires that interest and fees are paid first - even if you have made your regular monthly payment. I asked what amount of my payment would go toward the principal and they REFUSED to answer unless the payment was made. there are no payment tables, no customer support regarding early payoff totals - nothing.
