I had a family emergency last week and I had the ability get an emergency pin number on one of my AME- credit cards. I have -. The card for my business had a credit line of $500.00 because I transferred that credit line successfully to another business card last year. My Amex Open Blue is a personal credit card and I was trying to transfer the credit of $2000.00 to my AME- business card in which Amex was willing to help with my pin number for a cash advance. I do n't remember why the AME- blue could not be advanced, even though I just paid it off in full - $ -. I think it was because that particular card did not allow for cash advance Amex attempted to pull the credit over to the business card, but could not. The way it was explained was that there was an internal issue. Unbeknownst to me Amex had improperly and without disclosure ran my credit report and received a score of -. Mind you, I just paid off a series of credit cards so this credit hit came at the worst time possible. I just got the denial letter.
