In - 2013, I became a -. During this time, my daughter and I shared an account through -. During - of my " - '' I deposited some Mailbox Coupons into the - account as cash, I do n't even remember this happening : ( - contacted me immediately and with the utmost embarrassment, I went into the local branch to clear up my mistake. I received a lecture from an account representative, paid the money that I owed, and had the account closed. I was assured that because I resolved it immediately there would be no repercussions other than the sheer embarrassment of the situation in front of town 's people and my daughter, I stopped -. Here we are over 2 years later and I am working really hard to get my credit up and stick to a stringent budget. This is when I learn - has reported " - '' on -/-/13 and the closure status is " not reported. '' This is on my credit report, is keeping me from opening a bank account, and simply not right considering I was told there would not be anything reported in regards to banking or me. Granted I know I made a horrendous mistake and I tried to make amends as quickly as possible. I wish it had never happened but it did and I do n't think I should have to continue to pay for this error especially when I was told I would not have to over 2 years ago.
