My mother passed away in - -, and had a will and a revocable family trust ( the house is part of the trust. ) Champion said I had one year to pay off the reverse mortgage. I submitted all requested documents by the first deadline of - -. I was pursuing financing documents for the next deadline of - -. On - -, I faxed Champion my funding letter. On - -, I received a letter stating I was in foreclosure. On - -, I received a letter stating I was in default. I thought default came before foreclosure? On - -, - I came home to a Notice of Trustee 's Sale for - - taped to my front door. My next deadline with Champion is - -. HOW CAN THEY SELL MY HOUSE BEFORE THE " ONE YEAR FROM MY MOTHER 'S DEATH '' PROMISE??? Ca n't I sue them for breach of contract? My father built this house in -/-/-, and my mother left this house to me in her will. I want to contest the matter in court. THIS IS A SERIOUS CRY FOR HELP HERE! I am -, my husband is -, and my family of - has no where else to go. I ca n't afford an attorney, and the free legal aid in my rural area said they wo n't touch the case ... too complicated.
