Wells Fargo & Company Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease Florida
I have been working on my credit and fixing it for over a year, to refi my car loan with - - that had a huge intrest rate. I got my credit to a - and was ready to start looking to refi. Well I am a Wells Fargo customer and have had over - in my account for months, credit card with them, saving etc. I got an email from them stating " good news since your good standing with us you have been approved for a refi car loan with us! '' I was happy and started the loan app online. Right when it said at the end, continue, submit or save for latter I hit the " save for latter '' button due to wanting to talk it over with my Husband first before continuing. Well the next day I got a notification that a hard inquiry hit my credit. I looked it up and it was Wells Fargo! I was so mad, my score went down to - 's! I called the local Wells Fargo, complained, irate and mad and explained what happened. There was nothing they could do, since it was online. At that point
was already a hit and checking to see if I would qualify. I got a letter - weeks latter stating that my credit was too low, and had to many collections ( I had not one thing in collections! ) So not only did they check my credit with out my consent, they fooled me into thinking I was already approved and lured me into filling out an app ( even though I did not hit continue ) its still pulled a hard pull and my credit dropped, I was never refinanced and now had to go else where to get credit pulled again to get another refi, with a lower score thanks to Wells Fargos deceit! I called, complained, and they can do nothing! This hard pull cost me - points!!!! I never agreed to the hard pull, SAVE FOR LATTER MEANS, IM NOT CONTINUING NOW, I MIGHT LATTER!!!! It 's not right or fair! Please help me!
