I was admitted to - - - - back in - -. A few months went by and I received a letter from CMRE Financial Services, which is a debt collector. Turns out that the Emergency Room put me down as having - - insurance rather than the insurance I had which was - - - -. The Hospital portion was paid through my insurance however, the physicians bill has not been paid yet. I have been dealing with the collections agent since - or - - and the status has still been the same : " we are billing your insurance ''. I have - inquiries on my credit until this issue arose and I am trying to work with the collection agency to try and resolve this problem however no one is willing to help. I dont understand why it is in the same status and every time I call they tell me the same thing " we are working on it and we are billing your insurance ''. I tried calling the hospitals billing department and they said they could n't help because it is not with the collections agency. I tried calling my insurance and they cant do anything until the collections agency sends them a bill. I am very frustrated at this situation and I am reaching out for help.
