Wells Fargo Credit card department,
I have a credit card with Wells Fargo Bank. Payments are due on th - of each month. I have an automatic bill payment set up with - to occur on the - and arrive by the -. For - months in a row, Wells Fargo has not received/posted my payment until after the due date. Two weeks after the payment generated to them. I beleive Wells Fargo is delaying posting. There is no reason why a bill pay check between - of the biggest banks in the world takes two weeks for delivery. Wells has reversed the - fee when I called them. Im not sure if they will handle the - fee since they told me it was a one time " courtesy ''. They could not explain why the delay, saying only that the posting date was the date of receipt. They encouraged me to have WFB draft the payment against my - account. However, I want the process to work as it has for several years of having this account. Prior payments have never posted this late. There seems to be some fraudulent activity here to inappropriately charge customers fees that are not of their doing.
