Wells Fargo ( Platinum Visa ) has recently instituted fees for connected to accounts with -, and I presume other financial management tools. This is the first time I have seen this, and I believe that this is an intentional barrier to customers ' ability to access their own financial data in a relevant way for effective management of their finances. I believe that this is done in hopes that it will lead to errors on the customers ' side so that Wells Fargo can rack up higher interest rates and over limit fees.
