I was making payments to Wells Fargo for a store credit card I had gotten through - -. I purchased the chair in - of 2015 and started making payments the following month. I made all payments by logging on and manually making payments. -/-/2015 I decided Autopay would be better so I signed up. I thought it made a payment for -/-/- because in my bank statements the transaction shows as an ACH transaction so I did not look at the account again until I was notified in a letter from Wells Fargo that I was 2 months behind on payment and that the account was closed. I had no prior contact from them via email, phone call, or text. ( see attached Statements JPEG of account messages ) I had no idea the autopay did not work until it was too late. I caught the account up after I was notified, via letter, and called Wells Fargo myself. I thought all was well until I had applied for a car loan and noticed my credit score dropped - points!!! Wells Fargo made no effort to alert me that my account was delinquent ( see Statement JPEG and if


customer who made his payments and I do n't feel like my credit should be ruined because of this mistake. I can understand a late fee and having to report that, but an account closure is absurd! I contacted Wells Fargo and attempted to get them to rectify the situation but they did not even take a statement from me or ask about my side of what happened and then I get a letter in the mail about the situation and she did n't even try to rectify the correct issue. I just want this account closure stricken from my credit record and my credit score to reflect that. This was just a misunderstanding and they made no effort to help whatsoever!
