Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Keep getting calls about my loan California

I was attending - -, - ( formerly owned by - ) from - - until they unexpectedly shut down in - -. I was 3 months away from graduation when - shut down and I was not allowed to finish my program but was left with HUGE debt and a damaged credit score. I got NOTHING in return and I am now bombarded with phone calls regarding my debt EVERY SINGLE DAY! Referring to an article posted on Consumer Finance 's website on - -, - I was " harmed by - predatory lending scheme '' and lured into taking out private loans with very high interest rates. They advertised bogus job prospects and career services on television, online, and brochures. Students were forced to buy expensive overpriced books that were either never used in class or opened - times all quarter. According to the bulletin - ( owner of some of - schools ) agreed to remove negative information from student borrowers ' credit reports ; however, I am to this day still seeing negative credit report history and my credit has dropped by almost - points.These " - '' were owned/ran by the school and when it


letters in the mail ( almost one a day ) and more then - phone call from - regarding my loans a day, every single day. Many promises were made by the school, its ' employees, and its ' ownership and not - was met. The financial opportunity to make money from students in need of a better life was seen by - and they lied and failed to do what they should have done. If I take out a loan and I leave, I still have to pay that loan back. But if I take out a loan and the SCHOOL leaves, I should NOT have to pay anything to an institution that cost the jobs of many people, hurt people financially, lied, cheated and wasted the time of the students in the schools that were owned by -.
