Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease Massachusetts

I have a loan with Avant. I live in Massachusetts. The total amount loaned to me is -. The interest rate they are charging me is 28 percent. I believe Ma law says the maximum interest rate is 20 percent. I contacted - but was told they could charge me this amount.
