I had a debt with - -, there financial partner was - - -/-/-. It went into delinquent status. I called the collection agency who had my account, -. -/-/- we settle the account in question for $1500.00. I have a settlement letter from the company -. Stating the payment was received and paid in full. Unknown to me my account was sold to - - and then sold to Resurgence capital. Now for the past 4 years this has ruined my credit. Not until I was trying to purchase a home and looking at a high interest rates did this come up.
