On -/-/2015 I purchased a - Mini Cooper, VIN -, from - - in -, CA, which was financed through Lobel Financial. On -/-/2015, - - received a letter from Lobel Financial stating that the - Mini Cooper was a Manufacturer Buyback and to please remit payment in the amount of $7500.00 immediately. On -/-/2015 I received an email from - - stating that the car was a Manufacturer Buyback and that I had - options. First option ; I could swap the cars and get the same loan with all of the same numbers or, option two ; bring the car back and he would cancel out the contract. On -/-/2015 I chose to bring the car back and cancel out the contract. - - returned to me the deposit of $2000.00 and the $500.00 towards the cost of the DMV paperwork. First check was n't good. Money returned did not include - months of payments I made to Lobel Financial or the $410.00 I put into the car in repairs. I have included all necessary documentation to show that the contract has been cancelled due to the car being a Manufacturer Buyback and that I am no longer in possession of the - Mini Cooper in question. Lobel Financial refuses to take my name off of the loan until - - repurchases the car. Lobel Financial also refuses to return any payments made on the Mini Cooper.
