Payday loan Communication tactics Frequent or repeated calls Texas
My husband took out a title loan with this company. They repeatedly harassed him at work on his cell and office number when he told them not to call his cell or work number. He got laid off in -/-/- and totaled the truck in -/-/-. They are the title holder and was notified by the toll truck company and me. They put insurance on these vehicles in case something happens. After the vehicle was totaled they repeatedly called harassing him. They were informed 2 weeks ago that he died on -/-/2015. Today -/-/15 they texted his phone. Quote " Good afternoon this is - mgr at Lone Star Title Loans it is important for you to call me at - before - - or you may text back '' sent - -. How is a deceased person suppose to call or text, really you idiots. I used to work for a company like this one they can verify date of death at - or the funeral homes website. I provided this info the them today. by responding to the text message. They were told not to call the cell number I know they did not have permission to text. What happened to the cell phone consent policy. Then they called his phone from the same number at - - today and did not leave a message. My grandson started asking questions again about his papas death and started crying because they were trying to contact a dead person. Really you dummies this is borderline harass.
