In -/-/-, we got into a position where we were unable pay for our check by mail loans and were getting behind. As a result, we contacted each company and did a debt consolidation loan through - federal credit union. The only way - was willing to complete the loan was by having me talk to each creditor and having them personally fax the payoff amount from each creditor. The payoff of each creditor was sent directly to the creditor from the bank ... not us receiving the money. Beginning about a month later, we started getting the check by mail loans through the same creditors because of our credit worthiness. Does not being able to make payments qualify someone as credit worthy? We ran into a situation where we needed the money. Again, we ended up not being able to make the payments and got way behind. We attempted very small payments but lenders were not satisfied with that. The majority of our lenders were willing to arrange for half payments on our accounts. There have been - companies that have continued to harass us, even with making 50 % of original payments. - company is Regional Finance of


stated that he would not be able to because they are a publicly traded company and that accepting partial payments would be breaking contract. I went ahead and sent partial payments for the both of us. We got a phone call from them complaining and I frankly told them that other creditors have worked with us on partial payments. They ended up taking those partial payments for -, -, -, and -/-/-. Now they are saying that we either have to form - loan and have them add all of the document fees back in and increasing payment or they are going to send to collection and pursue sueing us, even with making partial payments. That would be forcing us to file bankruptcy, which does n't help this situation-for the company or us and we have been making partial payments. The other company is - - - - -, TN and is nearly the exact same situation.
