I have an installment loan in which payments $210.00 are deducted bi-weekly. I had a loan payment which was due on - - 2015, however, my paycheck was deposited early and I wanted to make sure that the loan payment was made. I spoke with an agent on -/-/2015 to arrange payment for the -/-/2015 payment which was subsequently deducted from my account on -/-/2015. Today, -/-/2015, I noted that an additional charge of $7.00 drafted from my bank account. I contacted the company and was told it was a fee for paying early. I was at no time advised of this while making the early payment. I was also advised that a rebate offer that I used when initially applied for the loan would be voided because I made a payment a few days early causing me to incur an additional charge of over $80.00. I was never made aware of this when making the payment a few days early and only made the payment to prevent any issue with timely payment since the - holiday was coming up. I should not be penalized for trying to take care of my obligations and ensure prompt payment.
