Unsolicited issuance of credit card California
I was researching to consolidate credit card debt. Lending tree rated a Chase credit card as very good. Filled out the application to see what l could qualify for. They stated on the web site, amount and interest % based on qualifying credit. The next thing I knew I was being congragelated for my new credit card! ( - mins. ). I was never shown the terms of the credit card to either accept or decline before they issued the account! Whith in - seconds I spent - minutes trying to contact and speak to someone with Chase credit card support to decline the credit card. Very rude and condescending customer support. There only solution that was offered to me was to cancel the account, an account I never had the opportunity to view the terms of. I voiced my displeaser on the negative consequences of opening and cancelling a credit account towards my credit history report. Basically told " not their problem ''.
