JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Chase Amazon ( Chase ) is confusing its customers with balance transfer offers & purchases made on the same Chase card account. Supposedly, a balance transfer offer of % interest for a specified period of time, usually 12 months, ( with a 2 % upfront ) fee, suddenly is changed to an 18.24 % interest when both the purchases & Balance Transfer are lumped together, making void the interest free period. I am being charged for - separate transactions as if they 're - transaction. This is deceptive. No matter they tell you when you do the balance transfer that any purchases made, in addition to the transfer, you will be charged interest each month until t he entire amount is paid off completely. This is confusing to anyone who is not an accountant & just another way the bank is charging its customers unfairly.
