I received a call today from an aggressive collector at Summit Receivables regarding a payday loan he advised I obtained in 2009. I did not recall anything related to what he was talking about. He advised if I did n't have the $1100.00 today they would move the file to the legal department for asset and income verification. He then asked me if I have ever been sued before. I asked if that was what he was going to do. He repeated the question. When I advised I had to go as I was at work he then yelled " Stop being a degenerate and pay your bill ''. I advised him this was an FDCPA violation and he then said " No, it 's not '' and then hung up.
