Someone at this number left a few automated vm saying to call back to avoid repercussions. I called back, They told me the last - of the ssn they had on file stating they are collecting for a loan - think a payday loan, however .... they can not or will not tell me who the original lender supposedly was. Said I owe $550.00. I can offer them a settlement. They have my cell phone # and last - of my ss # and said they know I have a bank account at a credit union. I have asked them if I find that it IS a valid loan and I pay this - - how do I know they wo n't come back with another -. He said he ca n't guarantee that since they do n't know the lender?
