JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
In 2010 I defaulted on a credit card balance to Chase Bank. The bank unsuccessfully tried several means by which to collect and after several years sent me a - form for debt forgiveness and I paid income taxes on the implied earnings. For some reason - - - - - did n't get the memo and is trying to collect. Each time - these collection agencies buys defaulted loans there is a credit check and my credit scoring never seems to recover despite the fact that it has been almost six years since the original default occured.
