I am being harassed by a 3rd party company named - about my charged off car loan with - - -. The people calling me from this company are calling themselves investigators. They have called my mom dad brother grandparents and friends all on the same day as calling me. They leave my family members voicemails, that say they are investigating me and need a call back. My family thinks that I have the police department looking for me. Today i spoke with Investigator - -, I did not provide her with any of my information and she disclosed my date of birth, the vehicle information from the loan and was very intimidating and harassing. I asked her to cease and decist and she said no. I asked her to stop calling my number and she said no. I gave her my phone number and said please dont call me i feel harassed and she said I am not harassing you and was very threatening to me about not giving her my information. I said stop calling and hung up. She called me right back again, I again said please dont call and I feel harassed and she said no.

I am in the middle of settlement discussions with the original creditor -, and I cant try to come up with money from family and friends to settle this loan, if they think the police are coming after me for something with them calling everyone telling people I am under investigation. Giving family and friends my account number to call back with. Anyone who called back with that account number would have been given my social, my date of birth, my loan information. Is this company miss using my personal information. Do i now have to worry about identity theft? I have major concerns and I am afraid this company will actually come to my home to talk to me in person, or threaten me. - has also text messaged me and my family and friends all at the same time about this. Giving an account number out to everyone for this. My family asking me if everything was ok. I can not continue to be harassed about this.
