I received in my mail a pre-qualified offer from Springleaf Financial Services ( see copy attached ) based on my excellent payment history and current lines of credit with that lender. - - was the original lender. - sold my lines of credit to Springleaf several years ago. Today, after I agreed to Springleaf 's pre-qualified offer, Springfield denied me the loan, even though I qualified according to the representative who took my information. This resulted in a denial of credit that negatively impacts my credit report.
