I informed them that the debt was not mine. They stopped contacting me and instead filed a lawsuit. When I emailed to settle to be done with it, they told me to call, but did n't give me a phone number. When I responded saying they did not provide a real phone number, they responded telling me to call them again. Finally, I was able to find the number they never gave me online. I called to talk about the debt and - - told me they had filed to garnish my wages and did n't even know how much I owed. When I tried to talk to her manager about it, - flat out hung up on me because I was n't being very nice. After two years of refusing to answer any communication from me, now they refuse to even let me pay a debt I never owed. Meanwhile, they have been reporting this account TWICE to the credit bureaus this whole time even though they told me they were not and would not.
